In a Parisian Cafe in 1904, young Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso meet, just before the scientist published his theory of relativity and the painter revolutionized the art world by introducing cubism. These two geniuses discuss creativity, fame, and the universe with a very skeptical audience of bystanders. The last surprise visitor is a charismatic singer from a later era. This is Steve Martin's first play written directly for the stage, full of his trademark wit and silliness, layered on top of a deep intelligence and respect for the artists.​​
